What Mitigation Costs

Typically what happens is that we will come to your home and figure out what mitigation system would be best for your home. There are several different mitigation systems that can be used. Each home is different. Some homes require two or three times the material or twice the amount of work. It all depends on your particular home.

We can tell you that systems typically run between $800 and $1500. This is the typical price of a good system from a qualified installer. It all depends on what we find when we come to your home. We understand the current condition of our economy and we do what we can to find the most cost effective way to reduce radon in your home.

Beware of very low pricing on estimates. If you find someone with a too good to be true price on their system, it most likely is. Some mitigators will give you a low price to start out with, then begin to add on accessories after they come to your home and find out what is needed. Or you may also be hiring someone that is not qualified to do the job and could possibly put your family at greater risk by installing the system incorrectly. 

The bottom line is that unless someone comes to your home and looks your home over to figure out what system you are going to need and the amount of time and material, they are just giving you an attractive guess.
